Nudie Jeans was established in 2001 in Sweden; a mere 5 years later, in 2005, it had sold one million pairs of jeans worldwide. With its base concept being "taking our roots from music and the way people live", Nudie is very good at transforming the inspiration it finds in the streets into jeans collections.
Using only the world's highest level manufacturing techniques - Italy's -, and refusing any kind of compromise, Nudie Jeans are made entirely in Italy. The denim cloth is also mostly from Italy, with only some exceptions for Japanese cloth.
Nudie Jeans puts an emphasis on tight and skinny designs, but every year its variety of shapes and its range of colours increases. From the very beginning of Nudie Jeans, "raw denim" has been a distinctive mark of the brand, but recent collections have also included trendy white- or black-based jeans.
